Itinerary

07:45 - 08:30 Meet your tour guide at your hotel located in Hanoi Old Quarter. Then start the trip with Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake. Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi which is an important spiritual place for Vietnamese worshipers.

Leaving Tran Quoc pagoda, you lead to Ho Chi Minh complex, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; visit his house-on-stilt and One Pillar Pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, as one of Vietnam's two most iconic temples and Hanoi’s symbol.

After that, you visit Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 dedicating to Confucius, sages and scholars. It was also the first university of Viet Nam once. This ancient site offers a lake of literature, the Well of Heavenly Clarity, turtle steles, pavilions, courtyards and passageways that were once used by royalty. Visiting the Temple of Literature you will discover historic buildings from the Ly and Tran dynasties in a revered place that has seen thousands of doctors’ graduate in what has now become a memorial to education and literature.

At noon, you will relax and have lunch at a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter.

After the lunch, you will head to traditional ceramics village of Bat Trang. You can visit the area of making ceramic products; and have a look of variety of ceramic products there.

At the end of this tour, you will come back to Hanoi centre and visit legendary Hoan Kiem Lake – the heart of Hanoi. Walking through the red bridge - the Welcoming Morning Sunlight Bridge (The Huc Bridge), you will visit Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to Tran Hung Dao - General Commander for his struggle against Mongolians. You also see the beautiful Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake.
