Phan Thiet is a city found in Binh Thuan Province, and is situated south of the Cam Ranh Bay on the southernmost part of Central Vietnam. The city is built along both banks of the Phan Thiet River and Muong Man River.
There are some Cham ruins to see in the area, as Binh Thuan used to be a part of the Cham kingdom. The most notable Cham attraction in the area is the Cham Tower, a 13th century structure located on the road between the town and Mui Ne Beach. Mui Ne beach, famous for its sand dunes, is 22km east of Phan Thiet, fishing village at the tip of the Mui Ne Cave, Cham towers. What hasn’t changed is the town’s sleepy charm!
